Your insights, time and skills are valuable. With busy lives, it is hard to find time to champion an issue or to volunteer.
Voices for Casey is from the community for the community. We are a hub looping everyone into listening, ideas sharing and communications about upcoming events and activities. There are a broad range of opportunities to get involved, to connect with like minds, to take action.
People who get involved in volunteering experience real benefits. For example, you can learn new skills, meet new people and there is growing evidence that people with passion, purpose and connection feel happier and healthier. Giving to others and volunteering for your community is great for your mental and physical health.
You can:
- Join a working group to advance an issue close to the community's heart and your heart
- Host or participate in a Kitchen Table Conversation
- Tell us about a community event idea you want support to get organised
- Help out behind the scenes with collating the info we gather, helping set up regular events, support our social media activities or anything you can think of to advance our shared purpose
We ask all volunteers to abide by our values and promise to be our best selves.
