In mid May, Voices for Casey launched our community listening campaign in the Dandenong Ranges. Now we are coming to Healesville to Launch the (Lyre) Bird and give flight to our Valley campaign in the lead up to the 2025 Federal Election!
Voices for Casey have developed an exciting plan to survey and have Kitchen Table Conversations with hundreds of Casey community members in the next 3 months about what is important to them. The information we collect from these activities will be used to produce a public report and scorecards for our Local, State and Federal elected representatives to see how they stack up against the issues Casey community members really care about.
With less than a year until the next Federal election, now is a critical time to start building a groundswell of support for community led democracy in Casey.
Community led democracy means everything from having conversations with our neighbours about what really matters to holding our elected representatives to account; engaging with issues that matter to the electorate and right up to supporting the election of an independent MP to represent us in Canberra.
